Maybe I'm being too critical, and that's the sort of feature you can only evaluate by playing the game, but isn't the dog thing less impressive than what you expect from an interview like that? What do you think?

I love what Molyneux says to say about game design and his focus on the truly important elements.
It'd be nice if he weren't constrained by budgets and deadlines and technological restraints.
I like to describe him as someone who is designing ten years ahead of himself.
Agreed! Molyneux is, in my opinion (and here is something that proves it), one of the most important and revolutionay game designers ever. That´s exactly why I was expecting more from an interview like that. I really don´t feel that dog as being a design leap as big as the creatures in B&W, for instance.
But then again, maybe I´m being too much, and should appreciate how he´s refining his concept.
