Desktop toy

This could also figure the non-games list I'll try to set up as soon as I have some time:

(From Souptoys website)

The Souptoys are a collection of more than sixty toys that you can play with directly on your computer desktop. Build intricate castles, create fantastic contraptions, decorate your desktop, design your own puzzles or just fling the toys around - they're your toys, play with them how you want to. Once you've built your elaborate playsets save them for later and share them with your friends.

Wow! This totally pushes my toyplay buttons - awesome! By far the best desktop toy I've seen to date.

Thanks so much for the tip!

You´re welcome! Desktop toys are curious, as they are a ludic space integrated into your "work" environment. A little bit like the evolution of those decorative toys, except that they are more toys and less decorative, I guess...

Thanks for the compliments guys. We definitely believe that desktop toys, whether they be digital or physical, can be fun to play with and nice to look at.

Some toys you play with more than others, some are just a way to personalise and dress up a computer that you spend a large portion of waking hours in front of. Some toys are for simply throwing at the wall to see what happens.
