flora gameplay video

You might need to access the page (and not the feeds reader) to watch the video:

2 minutes - more than enough to learn how to play and start creating.

This is looking both cute and fun! (Cartoon DNA - a first!) :)

Will you be localizing the demo into English, incidentally?

Hello Chris, thanks for the compliments!

Yes, this demo will have an english translated version. I hope to have it by the end of next week. Note that both versions (eng/port) are just a demo, I´m not sure if I´ll be able to make a full version - this will have to wait. Well, the demo should be fun to play with, anyway :)

Take care

I hate to thunder on your garden, but have you played Cultivation?

Hello Patrick!

Yes, I have (maybe not for long, though). As far as I could see, the gameplay is very different (even more than between Plantasia and my game). I would say the only similarities are in the concept involving plants and their genetic evolution. Even so, I think the way you interact with them, and how evolution takes place, are so distinct in both games that they are don't even share the same genre.

A good tip, anyway. Cultivation is a very interesting game.

It's funny, though, to see so many games on flowers and gardening.
