Good news: Joystick101.org, one of the first websites with in-depth coverage of videogames, is back. They were kind enough to publish my first two articles on the subject years ago (Cultural aspects of Game Development outside the mainstream and Placing Cultural Elements in Gameplay).
Since they didn't keep their old database, I will re-post those articles here).
